Commercial EPC Certificates record and demonstrate the energy efficiency rating of a building the EPC Certificate will provide a rating for the actual carbon emissions produced by the building. The Commercial EPC  Certificate will also show a rating for a typical building of your type and a rate for a building that would be newly built.

A quick guide to Commercial EPC requirements
  • All commercial buildings being sold bought or let require a Commercial EPC.
  • A Commercial EPC is valid for 10 years unles replaced.
  • All Commercial EPCs must be registered with Landmark / Land Registry by the EPC Assessor.
  • A Commercial EPC must be produced when the building is marketed
Exemptions from the Commercial EPC
 
  • Places of worship
  • Stand alone buildings of less than 50M2
  • Buildings that will be demolished within two years.
  • Temporary buildings.
