Commercial EPC what are they and what are the regulations for Commercial EPCs.

Commercial EPC Certificates record and demonstrate the energy efficiency rating of a building the EPC Certificate will provide a rating for the actual carbon emissions produced by the building. The Commercial EPC Certificate will also show a rating for a typical building of your type and a rate for a building that would be newly built.
Prospective Buyers and tenants of buildings are taking an interest in Commercial EPCs for a building that they are considering securing. With the Commercial EPC Certificate being produced to industry standards it is an efficient way to compare other buildings they may consider. Taking into account fuel costs as part of the appraisal.

A Commercial EPC is valid for 10 years unless replaced.

All Commercial EPCs must be registered with Landmark / Land Registry by the EPC Assessor.

A Commercial EPC must be produced when the building is marketed
Exemptions from the Commercial EPC
- Places of worship
- Stand alone buildings of less than 50M2
- Buildings that will be demolished within two years.
- Temporary buildings.
